Flower fence—tip, tap, slow;
Aralynn paused before they’d go.
Kaydence checked the space between;
Both stayed close where they were seen.
Reading stump—pause, then say;

Aralynn waited; Kaydence came near;
Together made the pathway clear.
Mailbox path—what shall we choose?
Say “Wait for me,” or rest our shoes—
Or whisper silly, “Glow-and-follow!”
Then move together, soft and slow.
Dandelion lights in make-believe play
Twinkled through the evening gray.
