Hawkins Hollow Nursery Rhymes
Silver Mushroom Chant 073
“Look at two, choose one, say thank you.” The actual engine is notice two → compare → choose one verbally → thank → wait for serving → choose. Callen holds one tray with a plain roll and a berry-dotted roll; Alice chooses the berry-dotted roll and thanks him.

Silver Mushroom Chant
Cobb Farm orchard—tap, tap, see;
Two small mushroom rolls waited neatly.
Callen held the tray down low;
Alice looked at both in a row.
Creek bridge—plain or berry-dot?
Sprinkles faded on the path.
Alice chose the berry one;
“Thank you, Callen—choice is done.”
Pasture fence—what shall we choose?
Say “Thanks for helping,” or rest our shoes—
Or whisper silly, “Mushroom-wiggle!”
Then wait while a grown-up serves it.
Wiggle hellos in make-believe play
Bounced tiny mushroom sounds through the gray.
Look at two, choose one, say thank you;
Kind choices leave room for waiting too.
