The Clear-Pair Bell
Before anyone stepped, the bell echoed twice.

Austin said, “Let’s make every safe choice visible as well.”
They circled acorn table once, single and slow,
Then faced stump-school yard where two pairs could go.

Austin and Aydin checked each dew-dark place.
Haylee and Zylar waited at the yard’s first mark.
