The obvious tool was the shiny magnet row,

The chant changed purpose when Kaydence changed its line:

Each direction aligned one water-bright view.
Austin kept rope-ring; Callen kept tin-pan too.
Emmitt linked the pinwheel; Kaydence left one beat free:
Hold, check, pass— then all listened quietly.
A loose Dahl seed-room latch settled by the door.
It gave one plain click across the damp floor.

No memory won. The background completed it.
