Child-facing question: Can one moving puzzle gather three different sounds, let the slowest placement set the timing, and build a bridge that disappears after everyone uses it? Dominant anchor: Line, curve, dot—wait for the last soft click. Cast: Spencer sends and receives the floating puzzle from bridge alcove and later steadies the first bridge object; Austin Turtle collects the reed hum at reed-dock inlet and later aligns the second bridge object; Aydin collects the pebble click beyond maple hollow, makes the slowest placement, and becomes the timekeeper; Aleea collects the wooden tok and later places the third bridge object. Spencer’s healed scar remains only on his left upper lip. Austin remains upright, clothed, and anthropomorphic. Lillian and Zylar were considered as available, but the four named roles already complete the viewpoint, sound, timing, and bridge mechanism.

The Bridge Waited for Click
Rose light touched three far-apart views:
bridge alcove, reed-dock inlet, maple hollow.
Four friends stayed where their watching began;
only the floating puzzle moved.
Spencer sent it from bridge alcove.
Austin caught it by singing reeds.
Aleea heard a hollow wooden tok.
Aydin waited beside one smooth pebble.
Austin traced a straight line
while the reed gave one low hum.
Aleea traced a bending curve
while the wood answered tok.
Aydin traced one careful dot.
The pebble had not clicked yet.
Spencer mistook the first two sounds
for the whole bridge order.
Line, curve—go!
The puzzle tipped the wrong two marks together.
Aleea held up the missing dot card;
the misunderstanding became visible.
“Line, curve, dot,” said Austin.
Aydin lowered the pebble slowly.
No one hurried the last small motion.
Click. The slowest action set the time.
The repaired order showed three objects:
one flat board, one short tray, one bark slab.
Spencer steadied the board.
Austin aligned the tray.
Aleea placed the bark slab last,
waiting for Aydin’s slow click.
Three pieces made one temporary bridge;
the four friends used it one at a time.
After the crossing, Spencer lifted the board.
Austin carried the tray away.
Aleea removed the bark slab.
Aydin checked the space was clear.
No bridge stayed for a victory pose.
The visible repair was the right order itself.
Hum—tok—click had fixed the misunderstanding,
and cleanup finished the celebration.
