Hawkins Hollow Nursery Rhymes
Whisper Spinner
Child-facing question: Can four friends vote without speaking, notice one extra tile, and keep a real role open for someone who is not there yet? Dominant anchor: Curve → line → hinge → open place. Cast: Spencer descends by the lower curved route, becomes Curve Holder, and later holds the R panel; his healed scar remains only on his left upper lip. Austin Turtle descends by the higher line, becomes Line Keeper, and later holds O; he remains upright, clothed, and anthropomorphic. Callen Crow carries the whispering role spinner, becomes Hinge Checker, and later holds the second O while remaining clothed and anthropomorphic. Aydin counts the silent vote, identifies the extra clear tile, names Open Place Keeper, and later holds M. Lillian and Zylar were considered as available, but the four named characters are all required for the four-panel message; the newcomer role remains genuinely open rather than immediately assigned.

The Extra Tile Kept ROOM
Above Cobb orchard press, four paths leaned downward.
No group line crossed the rosy sky.
Spencer chose the lower curve.
Austin chose the higher side.
Callen carried the whispering spinner.
Aydin watched its picture clues.
At riverside sandbar, four fingers pointed—
four silent votes, four different views.
Spencer pointed to the curved blue mark.
Austin pointed to the golden line.
Callen pointed to the center hinge.
Aydin pointed to one clear extra tile.
Curve Holder, Line Keeper, Hinge Checker—
three roles fitted the frame.
The clear tile matched none of them;
an open place still needed a name.
Aydin turned the tile toward the open edge.
“This can keep a place,” he said.
Open Place Keeper became the extra role,
waiting for a newcomer ahead.
The spinner whispered picture clues onward.
Spencer held the lower turn.
Austin held the upper line.
Callen checked where both could join.
At fern trail, four panels opened.
Spencer held R. Austin held O.
Callen held the second O.
Aydin held M beside them.
No panel carried the message alone.
Only four steady hands made ROOM readable.
The extra tile kept one role unclaimed,
so a future newcomer could enter.
