Callen: This is not feather clearing.

Emmitt: Then maybe the question is not where the ladder points.

Brandon: What is the real question?

Emmitt: Which route leaves room for someone outside our pattern?

Alice says, “Emmitt’s backward turn showed the clue.”

Callen says, “Emmitt changed the question.”

Brandon says, “Emmitt changed the plan.”

Emmitt does not have to explain it again.

Overhead Reveal

From the higher moonflower-wall edge, Alice sees the temporary route:
dark damp turns, pale breaks, and one open branch.

At ground level, the marks look separate.
Only the elevated view joins them.

The route ends at the open branch,
not at the expected picture place.
