- Leaderless relay: Use four starting cards or gestures. Rotate the first entry each round so every participant both begins and follows.
- Paired crossing: One pair crosses an imagined inlet while the second waits for a clear cue, then follows. Participants may walk, roll, gesture, or mark the sequence from seated positions.
- Silent answer: Hold one full measure after Aralynn’s line. Participants may watch the moving light, breathe, or remain quiet; the pause is musical evidence, not a test of behavior.
