- Baby-sized participation: Baby Bentley remains fully supported by an approved caregiver with stable head and neck control. Looking, listening, tiny natural movement, feeding, sleeping, or resting all count; no prop handling or prompted movement is required.
- Choice board: Use one round “now” space, one square “later” space, and one blank open space. A participant may point, gaze, gesture, or leave every option unchosen.
- Safety boundary: A trusted grown-up prepares the route. Callen and Lillian move well away from the caregiver and baby; the lantern and board never enter Bentley’s support space.
