One-Note Opening — Three Views

Lex: From the mud kitchen, red sits closest to the waiting bowl.
Callen: Beside the butterfly station, blue points toward the open perch.
Aralynn: Beyond mailbox bend, the two colors meet at the turning edge.
Zylar: I can carry the map to every view. I will not carry anyone’s answer.

Opening Chorus

All: Same note, different view—ask before you move.
Hold the sound, trade the card, see what each place proves.
Help can offer room and time; help does not decide.
Same note, different view—keep every view beside it.

Decision One — Two Meanings

The split-color motion map says:
“Put the helping color beside the waiting place.”

Lex: “Red is the helping color because it touches the waiting bowl.”
Callen: “Blue is the helping color because it points toward the empty perch.”
Aralynn: “Both readings fit the instruction from where we stand.”
Zylar: “Then we test both. We do not turn one view into a mistake.”

Lex holds Chooser. Callen holds Checker.
Aralynn holds Mind-Changer. Zylar holds Mover.
Lex chooses red-first. Callen checks the wording.
Aralynn keeps the change card open. Zylar moves only the map.

Map Transfer One — Butterfly Station

Zylar carries the split-color map from the mud kitchen viewpoint
to Callen beside the butterfly station.
Lex stays at the mud kitchen. Aralynn stays beyond mailbox bend.
The whole cast does not follow; only the map changes place.

Role trade: Lex passes Chooser to Callen.
Callen passes Checker to Aralynn.
Aralynn passes Mind-Changer to Zylar.
Zylar passes Mover to Lex.

Decision Two — Blue First

From Callen’s view, blue reaches the open perch without covering red.
Callen chooses blue-first. Aralynn checks the same instruction.
Zylar holds the change card open. Lex does not move the cast;
he carries only the map onward, then returns to the mud kitchen viewpoint.

Role trade: Callen passes Chooser to Aralynn.
Aralynn passes Checker to Zylar.
Zylar passes Mind-Changer to Lex.
Lex passes Mover to Callen.

Map Transfer Two — Beyond Mailbox Bend

Callen carries the map beyond mailbox bend and gives it to Aralynn.
Callen then returns beside the butterfly station.
At the turning edge, Aralynn sees red and blue equally near.
She chooses a split placement: red beside one waiting space, blue beside the other.

Zylar checks that no card covers another choice.
Lex keeps the change card open.
Callen returns empty-handed to his fixed viewpoint.
The map remains beyond mailbox bend with Aralynn for the comparison.

One-Note Character Study — No Vote

Lex, one note: Red helps here.
Callen, same note: Blue helps here.
Aralynn, same note: Both help here.
Zylar, same note: A changed mind still belongs here.

The note does not climb to crown a winner.
It does not fall to close a door.
Three views stay true to three places,
and the fourth role keeps room for more.

Irreversible Turn — Chorus Becomes Directions

The opening tune stops. No reprise follows.
Zylar taps the old chorus rhythm once, then speaks its new use:

Ask which view is speaking.
Point to the place that view can see.
Check whether the help was requested.
Leave space for a changed mind.

The group answers with actions, not the old melody:
open hand for ask; one finger toward a viewpoint for point;
two flat palms for check; one empty square held open for change.

Choice Board — Room for a Changed Mind

Zylar sets a four-pocket choice board at the route-neutral meeting spot.
Lex sends the red-view card from the mud kitchen.
Callen sends the blue-view card from the butterfly station.
Aralynn sends the split-view card from beyond mailbox bend.

Zylar places the three cards in three separate pockets.
The fourth pocket stays blank.
Lex, Callen, and Aralynn each hold one open palm toward it.
Zylar answers with the same open palm beside the board.

No one explains the gesture.
No one fills the final pocket.
The empty space says a choice may change
without handing control to somebody else.
