At willow root gallery, the dial now has a fifth open slot:
not another picture piece, but room for the held beat.

The intended guest remains beyond moss-log stage, referenced but unseen.
The new invitation reaches that quiet place through the pause rule.
No one has to arrive before the lantern is assembled.
The celebration waits without losing its shape.

Lantern Image — Separate Pieces

Lex slides the moth-wing panel into the left side of a low lantern frame.
Brandon slides the raindrop panel into the right side.
Kaydence places the fern panel at the lower front.
Lillian places the moon panel at the upper back.

A trusted grown-up switches on the enclosed cool lantern light, then steps back off-scene.
