Story

13.2 Asher Chipmunk — High-Risk Character Card Story Function: Asher is a fully present Hawkins Hollow child whose agency is expressed through eye focus, quiet attention, facial softening, small sounds, body stillness, tiny effortful hand or finger movement, and being accurately noticed by others. When Asher leads or centers a story, the story should move because the world listens carefully enough for his preference, need, discomfort, interest, or readiness to shape what happens. Asher does not need speech, broad gestures, or independent mobility to own a meaningful choice. Canon Identity: Asher Chipmunk is Kaydence Chipmunk’s non-verbal brother. He is a tan/light-brown striped anthropomorphic chipmunk child with severe cerebral palsy, extremely limited mobility, and a constant small child-sized handcrafted wooden wheelchair. He is not a prop, background object, inspiration symbol, medical case, or accessory to Kaydence. He is a child with feelings, attention, preferences, discomfort, relief, curiosity, and social belonging. Visual Lock Summary: Asher is a tan/light-brown striped anthropomorphic chipmunk child with gentle chipmunk facial features, small child proportions, soft expression, and a body held within the truth of severe cerebral palsy.
